Each learner must create a portfolio of evidence generated from appropriate assessment tasks, which demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes associated with each unit. Upon completing each unit, learners must declare that the work produced is their own, and the Assessor will countersign this. The learner will complete internally assessed work in accordance with the qualification specification.Who is this course for?

Requirements
There is a requirement for a minimum of 30 hours of practice for this qualification. There is no requirement to evidence working with groups of learners to achieve this qualification unless units are undertaken that specify that purpose. However, where trainee teachers are working solely with individuals, a programme may also include support and preparation for working with groups. There must be a minimum of 3 observations totalling a minimum of 3 hours. This excludes any observed practice completed as part of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
